Test Equipment Technician

Description

DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company developing and manufacturing life-saving radar systems, is looking for a Test Equipment Technician to join our site in Beit She’an.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the assembly and integration of manual and automated test equipment according to engineering designs.
• Perform maintenance of manual and automated test equipment, including troubleshooting, software configuration, and occasional RF calibration.
• Provide support and maintenance for factory test systems, anechoic chambers, ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) equipment, and test & measurement equipment.
• Support ongoing projects and implement new test systems.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer or Technician diploma – Mandatory.
• Strong technical background and relevant hands-on experience – Mandatory.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to emergency support requests when required, with the ability to travel to the site.
• Experience working with test and measurement equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Fluke Digital Multimeter (DMM), and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
• Experience maintaining integrated hardware/software test systems – Advantage.
• Knowledge and/or experience with RF systems – Advantage (including integration of combined hardware/software test systems, cabling, and RF instrumentation).
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, C, C, or Python programming – Advantage.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues through to resolution.
• Self-learning capability and the ability to lead projects independently.
