Join a leading defense technology company and take a key role as a Product Engineering Manager within a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting the development and ongoing improvement of advanced, life-saving radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustaining engineering.
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Engineers, driving technical excellence and team performance.
  • Drive the successful transfer of products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines and subcontractors.
  • Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and ensure accurate product documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, System Engineering, Integration & Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction.
  • Support product qualification, manufacturing readiness, and configuration management activities.
  • Act as the primary engineering focal point for sustaining products, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or a similar engineering role.
  • At least 2 years of proven managerial experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
  • Experience with complex electronic assemblies, PCBAs, and multidisciplinary systems.
  • Proven experience transferring products from R&D to manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment; defense industry experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
