Product Engineer – Production Engineering

Description

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of radar systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.

We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Production Engineering team at the Beit She'an factory.

In this role, you will provide hands-on engineering support for multidisciplinary products throughout serial production, working closely with Production, R&D, NPI, ATE, Quality, and other engineering functions to resolve technical issues and improve product and manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing engineering support for electronic and multidisciplinary products in serial production.
• Investigate and resolve product, integration, test, and manufacturing-related technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive engineering solutions and corrective actions.
• Develop a strong system-level understanding of the product, including hardware, RF, integration, testing, and manufacturing aspects.
• Support product and manufacturing improvements focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield, and cost.

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of industry experience in electronic hardware, digital electronics, RF, system integration, Production Engineering, NPI, or other relevant engineering roles in a multidisciplinary electronics environment.
• Hands-on technical background and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze multidisciplinary technical issues with a system-level perspective.
• Strong learning capability, curiosity, and willingness to develop expertise across multiple technical domains.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing processes.
• Experience with radar systems, RF systems, or complex electronic systems is a significant advantage.
• Experience in the Defense industry is an advantage.
