DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company specializing in the development and manufacturing of life-saving radar systems, is looking for a Production Quality Team Lead to join our Production Quality team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality investigations for failures and non-conformances, including root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal quality audits in accordance with aerospace quality standards and monitor corrective actions to address identified gaps.
- Analyze quality data, prepare and present ongoing trends and statistical reports, develop improvement plans, and monitor their implementation.
- Work cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams, supporting products during the NPI phase.
- Prepare presentations and lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
- Take overall responsibility for manufacturing quality processes for military products, including FMEA and MRB activities.
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, technical documentation, and engineering drawings.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications proficiently, prepare professional presentations, communicate clearly and concisely, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and be willing to work additional hours when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a Practical Engineering diploma in Electronics (technological education is preferred).
- At least two years of experience in the Quality field as a Quality Engineer or Quality Team Leader.
- Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly environments; familiarity with the AS9100 aerospace quality standard - an advantage.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary failure investigations and writing clear, concise procedures and work instructions.
- High level of English - mandatory.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and the ability to prepare and deliver professional training presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Ability to read and understand test documentation, technical specifications, and engineering drawings - mandatory.
- Knowledge of IPC standards for electronic and mechanical manufacturing - an advantage.
- Full-time, on-site position with willingness to work overtime as needed.
