Material Planning Manager

Description

DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company developing and manufacturing life-saving radar systems, is seeking an experienced and skilled Global Material Planning Manager to lead global material management processes across the organization.

This role carries significant responsibility in the areas of inventory optimization, planning, and control, contributing to the enhancement of the company’s operational capabilities and problem-solving effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and control global inventory levels, including inventory optimization and ensuring material availability.
• Full responsibility for MRP execution, including analysis of results and approval in coordination with company management.
• Prepare and analyze periodic inventory simulations to maximize inventory efficiency.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory, and implement solutions to reduce inventory exposure.
• Plan and execute periodic and cycle inventory counts.
• Manage safety stock levels in accordance with tactical and organizational requirements.
• Manage inventory accrual closure processes.
• Provide effective solutions for the continuous improvement of inventory management systems and processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a professional material management team, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management - mandatory.
• High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking) - mandatory.
• Significant managerial experience in global materials management, procurement, and supply chain operations - mandatory.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial company. experience in the electronics industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
